Card making with Jane Davenport!

Step 1

Start with a 5x7 sheet of card stock then brayer on color with Jane Davenport Mixed Media Acrylic Paint. Let it dry.

Step 2

Add some of Jane Davenport Mixed Media Rub-Ons.

Step 3

Then play with some Jane Davenport Mixed Media 2 Paint Over Pens.

Step 5

Consider adding wash tape. Jane’s Mixed Media Washi Tape Rolls come in such fun colors!

Step 6

Fill in the gaps with Jane Davenport Power Pastels.

Step 7

Jane uses a lot of faces in her work, so we added one of her Jane Davenport Mixed Media Acrylic Stamps Single Face with Versa Fine Clair Ink Pad to this card.

Step 8

Add ink to the edge of the card to give it some framing.

Step 9

Try a die-cut from Jane’s Artomology die series. In this case, we needed to add a shim to hold the die in place. It worked perfectly!

Step 10

Go back in with the markers and pastels to add highlights. Then show off your beautiful card!
